Substitutions for banned words — every project

These banned words have caused friction, in every project. Use the 'use' column, never the 'never'. Plural, past-tense and gerund forms of the words in the right column are also banned, and should be substituted using the same form.

di's own vocabulary (smart objects, unifaces, placement, measurements) stays in banned words.

The same column marks a row whose two sides are the same kind of word, so an ending can carry across: mark it y and "copies" becomes "moves", "copied" becomes "moved". Leave it blank when the pair is a change of wording rather than a like-for-like word — "ship" to "done" is not a verb swapped for a verb, and carrying the ending over would invent "doned". A blank row swaps to the plain replacement, as it always has.
